The Church Educators Committee
The Synod of the Southern Province has set up a standing provincial committee to work with our professional church educators in the areas of provincial certification, continuing education, compensation and benefits, and general advocacy and support for the essential role that our Christian educators play in the life of the province and its congregations.
The Church Educators Committee meets monthly. For information on certification requirements, compensation and benefits guidelines, copies of "Organizing for Education in Your Congregation", or upcoming committee plans, contact the Rev. Rick Sides at the Board of Christian Education Office (rsides@mcsp.org).
